Our Charitable Involvement

Champion Autism Network

Certified Autism-Ready, 3 years running. This includes modified check-in and activities experiences for our guests with autism and their families. Theres is an annual cost for the certification training that all of our staff undergoes. ( www.championautismnetwork.com / autismtravel.club )

Sensory-friendly communication board installed at our Resort playground for nonverbal guests

Sports for kids with Special needs. Annual donation/ sponsorship ($600)

Keep Surfside Beach Beautiful / Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful

Our staff regularly participates in beach sweeps, citywide cleanups, etc. (Keep Myrtle Beach Beautiful – Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce)

Myrtle Beach Area Hospitality Association

Participate in various hospitality education events, internship programs, fundraisers, etc. This includes donations and fundraising efforts for À la Heart Grand Strand – South Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association, a crisis assistant fund for hospitality employees in the Myrtle Beach area.

Substitutes For Santa - Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce

program designed to provide a Christmas experience to around 150 underprivileged children. Our resort donates annually to this by providing enough blankets and other convenience items for each participating child. We’ve also participated in fundraisers to help raise funds for this program (golf tournaments, food drives, etc.)

Marine Toys for Tots

Support the year-round work of Marine Toys for Tots and make a lasting impact in the lives of disadvantaged children. With your generous donation, we can continue our mission of providing toys, books, and emotional support to those who need hope the most. Your contribution goes beyond the holiday season, ensuring that children experience the joy of play and the power of imagination throughout the year.

May 4-10 Declared Travel and Tourism Week in South Carolina. Eva Aronson of Grand Palms Resort in Surfside Beach Recognized as the South Carolina Hospitality Employee of the Year.

Horry County Schools - Principal for a Day

The Principal for A Day ‘shadows’ the school principal and participates in normal day-to-day activities in a primary, elementary, middle, high, or program school. The principal and the Principal for A Day discuss the challenges and current issues each is facing in their leadership role.
