Marriott Vacations Worldwide

Our Charitable Endeavors

People. Places. Planet.

Community Relations and Corporate Philanthropy are core drivers of Corporate Responsibility in hospitality, where success is deeply rooted in local communities and people.

By investing in community partnerships, volunteerism, and philanthropic initiatives, hospitality organizations strengthen destination resilience, enhance employee pride, and build trust with guests. These efforts create
shared value — supporting workforce engagement, reinforcing brand reputation, and ensuring long-term growth by aligning business performance with the well-being of the communities we live and work.

Our Charitable Involvement

Make-A-Wish

At Marriott Vacations Worldwide, we believe every family deserves the opportunity to enjoy a fulfilling vacation. We are excited to team up with Make-A-Wish to help grant wishes and provide memorable vacation experiences for wish kids and their families.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Since 1983, we have been a long-standing corporate partner with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Our brands have continued this legacy and support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since Marriott Vacations Worldwide became an independent, public company in 2011. Our associates, Owners, Members and guests raise funds through hosting large-scale events like the Caring Classic golf tournament, conducting unique fundraising events at our resorts, and participating in the Torch Relay for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Clean The World

is a global leader in environmental and social impact solutions, which aims to make the world a better place by diverting soap bars and plastic amenities that the hospitality industry would otherwise discard onto landfills and recycling the collected soap into new bars. By doing so, Clean the World helps reduce pollution, save water and decrease the carbon footprint of thousands of hotels globally, while helping improve the lives of women, children, and communities by donating the new soap bars to global NGOs, such as The WASH Foundation.

On Course Foundation

On Course Foundation provides long-term benefits for injured, wounded and sick service members and veterans through golf tuition, work experience and jobs in the golf industry. On Course began in the United Kingdom in 2009, and launched in the United States in 2013. By using the game of golf, this charity provides injured service members and veterans with the opportunity to play in the only game with a level playing field due to the golf handicap system.

Harvest For Hunger

Thanks to the generosity and commitment of our associates, Owners, guests, members, and community support, we collected more than 112,000 pounds of food in 2025 – helping us reach an incredible milestone of one million pounds donated since we started our Harvest for Hunger program in 2015.
This achievement is more than a number; it represents thousands of meals, hope for families, and a stronger community.

Treecovery Hawaii

MVW is a Treecovery Resort Partner, growing trees on their property for associates and residents that lost their trees in wildfire.

With the opening of Marriott Vacation Club Waikiki in 2024, MVW awarded $50,000 to 3 organizations in Hawaii that are longstanding community partners and aligned with our Community Relations & Philanthropic Pillars.

Farm to Resort | Lowcountry Fresh Market

“Farm to Resort”, a partnership with Lowcountry Fresh Market for our resorts
on Hilton Head Island giving Owners and guests the option to order fresh,
locally-grown groceries and pre-packaged meal kits before arrival and have
them delivered right to the resort.

Lowcountry Fresh Market & Café is a family-owned market in Bluffton, SC
whose ingredients are sourced right around the corner on the Sea Islands
of South Carolina. Lowcountry Fresh is the proud partner of many farmers
across the Lowcountry and throughout the region

Caring Classic

The Marriott Vacations Worldwide Caring Classic golf tournament directly benefits pediatric programs at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, our local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. In 2023, the golf tournament raised over $100,000 for the charity, which brought the overall cumulative total raised since the tournament’s inception in 1997 to over $3 million in funds.

Pillars in Action

Through MVW’s philanthropy pillars, associates are empowered to serve through conservation projects, help strengthen their communities, and support environmental education that inspires future generations.
